2023 Rag and Bone Riesling
92 Points – Halliday, Australian Wine Companion 2024
Sourced from two Eden Valley vineyards, fermented slowly to retain fruit freshness and integrity. Brown lime juice, fresh limes, and all things nice that Eden Valley is known for.
2022 Sub Aqua Club Field Blend
A field blend of Semillon, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling from an unirrigated vineyard. Pale straw with platinum highlights. All the varieties at work here with a complex nose of fruit characters – lime, lemon, apple and peach – with a hint of florals for extra freshness and lift. The palate is a juicy little fruit salad too but its the lemon and lime citrus that strikes out first thanks to the juicy vein of acidity, later softening and sweetening more towards pineapple and orange juice. A delicious everyday white blend to knock back cold as you like.
2023 Good Luck Club Cabernet Sauvignon
92 Points “Cabernet sauvignon sourced from a single vineyard in the Gomersal subregion of the Barossa Valley. Intense aromas of blackcurrant jam and blackberries with a dash of maraschino cherry, pressed flowers, licorice, earth and a touch of choc-mint. Trademark Gomersal compact fruit weight and density on display here with ripe, sandy tannins and a cascade of blackcurrant fruit on the finish. Good value.” – Halliday, Australian Wine Companion 2023
2021 Songlines Grenache
From an 80yo vineyard, fermented as whole berry, basket pressed and aged in seasoned French oak. Deep cherry red with a youthful crimson hue. Classic Barossa Grenache nose of ripe red fruits, a little blueberry/blackberry dark fruit, fragrant spice and a hint of dark chocolate. Medium weight with the full Barossan generosity present in the liqueured red fruits, ripe blackberry and sweet spices. Tannins are well judged and background to the concentrated fruit.
2023 Black Craft Shiraz
“A compelling, dark and rich chocolately beast. A classic Barossa Shiraz with intense savoury flavours of thick blackberry compote, black pepper and typical iron-rich beefy flavours. Not a hint of jam here, no sweetness, this is serious Shiraz with balanced acidity, a touch of cocao powder in the finish and tremendous length. This is brightly fruited with excellent fruit purity, showing dark and purple fruit richness with mixed spice, potpourri and cedar characters on the nose. It’s concentrated and generously textured on the palate offering terrific weight and persistency. Delectably appealing.” – Sam Kim MW, Wine Orbit
