2025 Fiano
Sitting at higher elevation in Blewitt Springs, this organic certified vineyard is slightly cooler than the rest of McLaren Vale which helps retain the lovely fresh acidity this southern Italian is known for, whilst developing flavours. Only free run juice was taken from the press, with initial wild fermentation in stainless steel with light solids before being transferred to seasoned French oak to finish fermentation.
2024 Chenin Blanc
Fruit for the Chenin is sourced from the Brini Vineyard at the very top of Blewitt Springs that enjoys a cooler microclimate due its south facing aspect. It is an old, dry grown deep sand over ironstone site that allows Chenin to thrive. Like the Fiano, free run only juice was spontaneously fermented in two seasoned 500 litre French Oak Puncheons and kept on lees and stirred to add texture for 6 weeks before bottling.
2023 Grenache / Shiraz / Mataro
“A blend of three individual parcels, Grenache from Blewitt Springs, Shiraz from McLaren Vale and Mataro from Sellicks Hill. Hand-harvested with strict vineyard selection. Fermented separately. 10 months in old French oak. Selected barrels at blending. A deeply layered flavour profile that is concentrated and balanced. The aroma is rich and complex, mixing notes of dark berries, spice and hints of leather with a subtle floral aroma.” – Saltfleet
2023 Grenache
“Sourced from two vineyards in Blewitt Springs planted in 1939, and 1956. Both vineyards are bush vines on deep sandy soil over ironstone, which produces fruit with concentration, perfume and structure. The vineyard at higher elevation has smaller berries resulting in tightly wound gritty tannins, while the lower vineyard provides a beautiful mid-palate and aromatics.” – Saltfleet

2023 Shiraz

The result; a flavour profile that captures the essence of the region. Dark blue and black fruits, medium to full bodied with savoury structured tannins. Enjoy now or cellar for years to come.” - Saltfleet
