2019 Sancerre

Pale straw with polished gold highlights. Fresh classic nose with aromas of wet limestone and white clay, fragrant quince, white currants, granny smith and lime blossom. The palate is fairly gentle with softer acidity from the warmer 2019 vintage. Rich flavours of white and yellow fruits – apple, corella and nashi pear, white nectarine - flood the palate and even a hint of exotic musk and iris perfume. There is a delicate mineral tang to the finish with a deceptive length as flavours linger down the throat. Classic flavour profile but with additional texture. Very satisfying!
