Clare Valley
2024 Single Site ‘Slate’ Riesling
(Halliday Top 100 Wines 2025: Best white wines over $40)
96 Points “The fruit for this wine is sourced from 101-year-old vines from the Parish vineyard, and it doesn't feel like we are in the Clare anymore. It smells and drinks of elsewhere, more the ilk of Rheingau. Indeed, the red clay on slate soils imparts a level of richness beyond a single dimension. This is deliciously citrusy, citing a mandarin note amongst the usual lemon-lime. It's fleshy, tensile and feels tireless in its drive. Powdered quartz, green apple, some phenolic grip and a crunchy spiced pear note that thrums a pulse behind the endless stream of powerful fruit. A true marvel.” – Katrina Butler
2024 Single Site ‘Limestone’ Riesling
94 Points – “A perfumed and floral Riesling with orange blossoms, jasmine, lemon rind and a touch of dried pineapple. Medium- to full-bodied, expressive and energetic, with an incisive thread of acidity. Ripe orchard fruit flavours follow through to the finish, with a pleasantly pithy phenolic texture. Flavourful and persistent. From a single vineyard planted in 1974 on clay and limestone soil. Drink now or hold.” James Suckling, October 2024

2023 Tiver Rosé
93 Points – “A blend of sangiovese and sciacarello from a single (Vivian) vineyard. We’re in rose land here. Fragrant with sour cherries, cranberry, rose hip tea, sweet spice, a lick of minty herbs too. Palate and bouquet send similar vibes. The palate is juicy, has a little tug of fine, lacy tannin to finish, a hint of red berry sweetness but there’s spice and savouriness laid on deftly with blood orange tang to close.” Mike Bennie - The Winefront October 2023

2022 The Clare
92 Points – “A tilt at a new breed of Clare red wine, though it has been since 2016, or at least since then for me. It’s cabernet, cabernet franc, grenache, malbec, carignan, sciacarello from three vineyards, drawn together to produce a regional red. Clever. Clare cabernet and shiraz solo can fall short at times, alone. ” Mike Bennie - The Winefront October 2023
2023 Vivian Sangiovese
95 Points by Halliday Wine Companion (Katrina Butler)
94 Points by James Suckling
Pure Sangiovese - soft cherry and dusty tannins. Planted in 1998, this is one of the older Sangiovese plantings in the area. The block is tucked in-between the Saciacarello and Cabernet in our Vivian vineyard, on heavier dark clay over limestone. The denser clay soil is important to build body into a lower alcohol red wine.
2022 Classic(o) Cabernet
This block always produces small berries, intensely flavoured fruit with great tannin. While still a medium bodied wine, this is the most full-flavoured red we produce. The wine spent around 2 weeks on skins, was hand plunged and then matured for 18 months in thick staved French Demi Muids. It then spent 3 months in stainless steel before bottling in December 2023, with 60ppm total SO2 added and no fining or filtration.
Adelaide Hills
2023 Adelaide Hills Chardonnay

Aged in French Barrique & puncheons for 8 months on lees, then stainless steel for 8 weeks on fine lees. No fining.
2023 Adelaide Hills Savagnin
96 Points – “The premier release of this wine. The nose is mineral-driven, with notes of grapefruit, orange blossoms, chalk, lemon peel and flint. The palate is textural, cut through with a laser-like acidity, showing notes of mandarins, lime curd and oyster shells. Wonderfully balanced with such high tension, energy and purity. Excellent.” - James Suckling, October 2024
2023 Lenswood Chardonnay

The palate is textural with a laser-like acidity and a creamy mid-palate, giving notes of green apple skin and lime curd. Wonderfully balanced with a high-tension core. Truly exceptionally.” - James Suckling, October 2024
2023 Adelaide Hills Gamay
94 Points – “Vibrant aromas of wild blackberries, raspberries, graphite and violets. The palate is medium-bodied with finely integrated tannins and bright acidity. Seriously well constructed, with a great balance of freshness and structure. An excellent example of Australian gamay.” James Suckling October 2024

Pinot… but not overdone – delicate fruit, earthy and soft tannins, Willsmore Vineyard, Piccadilly. Sandy loam on Sandstone and soft red rock. Hand harvested and sorted in vineyard. Destemmed retaining 50% whole berries with no whole bunch. No fining, no filtration.

Delicious.” James Suckling October 2024
