2020 Côtes-du-Rhône ‘Pur Rouge’

A Grenache Syrah blend (60/40) produced biodynamically. Intensely bright but ripe red fruits with some strawberry lift in the aromas, underwritten by Provencal herbs and slightly olive hints here. It’s an incredibly appeasing style, a lovely structure supported by stony limestone minerality and fruit-driven freshness, with some tannin grip. The intensity continues with a long finish.
